Role Description
This is a full-time role for a project engineer located in Los Angeles, CA. The project engineer will oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring groundwater treatment systems, coordinating maintenance activities, preparing and submitting compliance reports, managing site personnel, and communicating with relevant stakeholders. The role also involves implementing operational improvements for efficiency and environmental protection, as well as ensuring proper documentation of site activities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, landfill operations, and compliance requirements
- Experience in project management, team supervision, and facility maintenance
- Strong skills in data analysis, report preparation, and problem-solving
- Effective communication abilities for stakeholder coordination and team collaboration
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and practices in landfill management
- Proficiency in using technical tools and software related to site management
- Possession of at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Previous experience in treatment system operations, environmental compliance, or a related area is advantageous.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be comfortable working in an office and field setting.
